Ten years of Major League Soccer has seen the league’s players grow in stature on the worldwide market. The next ten should bring new and interesting developments on this front. Look for the league to offer better pay in order to eventually compete with Mexican clubs for top South American talent, which sells tickets all over the globe. Until then, MLS will continue to turn NAFTA on its head and offer the dream to legions of youngsters.
